I had a difficult time not only reviewing Twisted, but I even had a difficult time reading it.

Twisted is a Psychological Thriller, I would say is intended for adult readers.

The author, Andrew Kaufman, has an interesting style where he describes in great and graphic details, what is going on. This was the first of his books that I have read and it is difficult to say, but I enjoyed reading it. I enjoyed reading his descriptions and the imagery he created. But, the story itself was not one of my most fun reads.

The story involves a [if supportFields]><span lang=EN-CA style='font-size:14.0pt;mso-ansi-language:EN-CA'><span style='mso-element:field-begin'></span><span style='mso-spacerun:yes'> </span>SEQ CHAPTER \h \r 1</span><![endif][if supportFields]><span lang=EN-CA style='font-size:14.0pt;mso-ansi-language:EN-CA'><span style='mso-element:field-end'></span></span><![endif]psychiatrist, Dr. Chris Kellan, who works at a psychiatric hospital and is assigned the task of evaluating a new patient. The patient is an accused serial killer, accused of murdering ten young women.

The story becomes dark as the doctor gets deeply involved in the case. Over timed, the killer begins to work his way into Dr. Kellan’s mind. They share thoughts. The deeper and more intricately the killer gets into the doctor’s head, thoughts and memories, the more the doctor’s life begins to unravel and the more the killer is in control of the doctor’s mind. Soon, the doctor begins to question his own sanity.

The story is dark and is an intricate story line. I can recommend it for an adult reader, but to be honest, Twisted is not one I will read again.
