All across the Middle East, civilization is in retreat, set aflame by ancient ethnic rivalries, caustic politics and meddling global powers.  Failed states now stretch from Afghanistan to Libya. Based upon emerging geo-political events that are reshaping the globe, Into a Dark Frontier imagines what will happen when the growing chaos spreads across all of Africa and sets the continent aflame.

But what would happen when the flames recede? How would the world respond to an entire continent governed by no one? What sort of men and women would venture there, seeking to raise a new world of their own design?

Enter Slade Crawford, a Navy SEAL imprisoned on false charges of domestic terrorism. Struggling to rebuild his life on parole, Slade is haunted by the accidental death of his son and the loss of a wife who blames him for the tragedy.

Unable to endure life as an ex-con, Slade breaks parole and flees to Africa with the agents of injustice in close pursuit.

Now an international outlaw in search of redemption, Slade enters a continent ruled by frontier justice and old world violence. In Africa, he meets those worth dying for as well as those that require killing.  Beset on all sides by murderers and angels, savages and saints, Slade discovers that the collapse of African society was the work not of fate, but of men, and that they have come to collect their prize.  Facing choices that will either damn him or redeem him, Slade must fight for his life, or his honor. He can’t have both.
