This book was well written, exciting and unpredictable. If you are a gamer and enjoy MMOs, you will enjoy this book.

It starts out with a laugh. “Richard kept his head down. Not all those cowpies were frozen. And the ones that were could turn and ankle.” From there the story unfolds revealing fun and believable characters, some gaming Easter eggs, enviable gaming caves, kidnapping, frightening Russians, international intrigue, Chinese gold farmers -- and cowpies.

I lost sleep listening to this book. I used every available spare moment in my workday, in my car on the way home and between classes at school. I even skipped a few “guild raiding” 1 events for this book.

Have you ever had a friendship where you felt exhausted, like you can’t keep up. You just want to holler “slow down… I’m right behind you. I see you and I’m running as fast as I can.” That was how I felt while reading this book. And I loved it.

Be ready. It is a book of extremes. Lots of moments of extreme excitement. And a few moments that drag in the details. But those draggy moments are few and far between.

I close this review with a link to one of my favorite reviews on GoodReads.com. It makes me smile. :)
